Hamilton, Ontario – Hamilton Police have made an arrest in connection with the vicious attack on a 13-year-old boy.
At approximately 9:50 p.m. on August 5, 2006, 13-year-old Drew Lee was walking west along Main St.E. when he was attacked in the parking lot of 685 Main St.E. Hamilton Police allege that the male suspect repeatedly kicked and stomped on the victim’s head. As a result of this attack Drew remains in serious condition in hospital.
On Friday, August 18, an appeal was made by Hamilton Police for more information on this attack. As a result, many tips were called in to Police and Crime Stoppers.
Hamilton Police Division One Detectives were the lead investigators in this crime and on December 20, made the following arrest:
Charged: Alexander Maurice Carloni (18 years old)
Charges: Aggravated Assault
Assault Level One x 2
Threaten Bodily Harm x 2
Breach of YCJA Probation Order x 9
Possession of a Controlled Substance ? cocaine
